Case study / Website strategy, design and content
Long Ashton Golf Club.
Make a complex club easier to understand, explore and manage.

01 / The commercial challenge
One club had to serve prospective members, visitors and its existing community.
Long Ashton's website needed to explain far more than the course. Membership, green fees, group golf, coaching, the professional shop and clubhouse each had their own audience and next step.
The redesign brief called for a more modern experience and clearer customer journeys, while giving the club a practical way to keep changing information useful after launch.
02 / The connected approach
Plan the routes, the page system and the image library together.
Albatross organised the experience around the decisions visitors arrive to make: explore the course, understand membership, plan a visit, find coaching or contact the club. Wireframes covered ten core page types before those routes moved into interface design and build.
A Webflow component and CMS plan supported repeatable content such as course status, hole information, testimonials, galleries and FAQs. In parallel, an original photography production created a real visual library for the course and clubhouse.
03 / The delivered experience
Clear journeys, responsive screens and a genuine sense of place.
The live site carries the same hierarchy from the wide homepage navigation to a focused mobile membership route. Original course, golfer and clubhouse photography then gives each part of the offer its own visual character without losing the shared system.
One system / Different decisions
Wide navigation when the offer is broad. One clear action when it narrows.
The homepage makes the full club offer visible. On mobile, the membership page reduces the experience to the information and enquiry route that matter in that moment.

A useful image library
Show the whole club, rather than repeating one course view.
Interior, human and landscape frames give the page system different material for hospitality, golf and the wider setting. The images shown here come from the project's final photography folder.

04 / The delivery
A Webflow site the club can keep working with.
Ten core page types connect the course, visitor information, membership, group golf, coaching and clubhouse, supported by CMS planning and a Long Ashton editor guide.
