Case study / Membership, societies & member stories
Ashford Manor Golf Club.
Let members make the club feel personal.

01 / The commercial brief
Grow two revenue lines without losing the character of the club.
Ashford Manor wanted to increase membership revenue while building a society-golf income stream. Both goals depended on reaching relevant golfers and giving the club a practical route from initial interest to a conversation.
The brief therefore joined creative, paid distribution and follow-up. Course imagery could introduce the setting, but the campaign also needed a human reason to belong and a clear reason for society organisers to enquire.
02 / The approach
Make membership personal and society golf easy to act on.
For membership, Albatross moved beyond scenic course advertising. #MembersStories put real members at the centre of the creative, giving prospective golfers a view of the welcome, friendships and routine behind the membership offer.
Society campaigns used seasonal offers, clear package pricing and course-condition messages. Facebook lead forms, a society brochure and reply-led email sequences then carried interest towards the club team rather than leaving the advert as an isolated impression.
03 / The work
Real voices, clear offers and a route to respond.
The surviving work shows two sides of the programme: member-led creative that made belonging feel personal, and society adverts that turned seasonal golf into a specific, bookable proposition.
Member-led creative
Let a member show what joining could feel like.
A real member's story was adapted for the social feed, giving the membership campaign a person and a point of view rather than relying on course photography alone.

Society creative
Make the winter offer tangible.
Distinct delivered executions combined people, course condition and package pricing. The proposition could change with the season while the club remained recognisable. The prices shown are historical campaign offers.

Enquiry and follow-up
The response path was designed with the creative.
The surviving delivery records document separate membership and society journeys. Membership prospects were invited to a trial round at the member guest rate. Society leads received the brochure, practical booking questions and a four-email sequence that encouraged a direct reply.
