Our Approach

Throughout this project, our overarching aim has been to rethink beginner golf from the top down.

Rather than fighting for a finite number of existing golfers in the market, Horton Golf Park came to us in 2018 with the challenge of helping them generate new members that they can invest in over the long term.

We fought to challenge the negative associations with Get Into Golf schemes by spinning traditional approaches toward generating new golfers on its head by aiding the club in developing a unique pathway to sustained, long-term membership.

As we developed our marketing materials and optimised our approach, we created an innovative ‘grow the game’ model that not only yielded commercial gain but pushed the sport forward too.

Whilst these new golfers continue to generate incremental membership revenue and secondary expenditure on-site, they have also each become important brand ambassadors helping to drive invaluable word-of-mouth marketing to further enhance the impact of the project for years to come.
